Responsible Growth
Science and responsibility
must evolve together.
For Symbio, building a stronger company also means becoming more accountable about how we operate, how we use resources and how growth is shared with the communities around us.

A measurable path forward
Measuring where we stand.
We chose to benchmark early rather than wait until our sustainability systems looked finished.
Symbio voluntarily undertook its first EcoVadis assessment to establish an honest baseline, identify gaps and make improvement measurable. Our initial assessment established a score of 37/100.
We are using that baseline to strengthen our approach across environmental performance, EHS, ethical business practices, sustainable procurement and social responsibility.
The objective is not simply to improve a score. It is to progressively build stronger systems, improve performance and measure whether we are genuinely getting better as the company grows.
Operations
Safer. More efficient operations.
As our manufacturing footprint grows, we continue to invest in resource efficiency, process safety and stronger environmental systems.
Recent EHS initiatives include stronger fire-protection systems, safer handling of flammable solvents, nitrogen blanketing for critical equipment, improved effluent-management infrastructure and additional engineering safeguards around solvent handling.

Science that opens doors
Curiosity can change a life.
As a science-led company, one of the most natural places for us to contribute is where curiosity begins.
Through our partnership with the Agastya International Foundation, a Symbio-supported Mobile Science Lab takes hands-on science learning into government and rural schools. Using more than 100 working models across Physics, Chemistry and Biology, students from Classes 5 to 9 experience science through experiments, interaction and problem-solving rather than textbooks alone. The partnership has now entered its second year.

Skills that create opportunity
From training to livelihoods.
Around our manufacturing locations, we invest in practical skills that help young people build confidence, become job-ready and access employment opportunities within the industrial ecosystems around them.

Vizag
Bhagavatula Charitable Trust
Symbio partners with Bhagavatula Charitable Trust on skill development for learners from underserved communities around Vizag. The programme combines classroom and practical learning across office administration, electrical skills, IT, spoken English and workplace readiness.

// Shared growth
Progress should travel
beyond our facilities.
The science and manufacturing capability we build creates value for our customers. We also want that growth to create curiosity, capability and opportunity in the communities around us.
Curiosity
Helping young students discover science through questions and experimentation.
Capability
Building practical, employable skills.
Opportunity
Creating pathways towards confidence, livelihoods and greater independence.
